After a terrible setback last year, Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth are returning this year with their most promising projects, with releases scheduled just two months apart.
Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel and released last year, didn’t meet audience expectations and ended up being a flop.

Following this setback, Rajinikanth is now returning with Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, which is set for a worldwide theatrical release on August 14th. Yesterday, the team released a special “100 days to go” glimpse video that has received positive responses from audiences.
Similarly, after Indian 2, directed by Shankar, which ended up as a troll fest, Kamal Haasan is returning with Thug Life, directed by Mani Ratnam, slated for a grand theatrical release on June 5th.

While both Kollywood superstars are returning after disappointing previous films, it is expected that Coolie and Thug Life will emerge as blockbuster successes, marking a massive comeback for Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan.
