Director Srikanth Addala delivered a miserable disaster like Brahmotsavam with Superstar Mahesh Babu. Never before a film of Mahesh Babu was so unbearable as Brahmotsavam. The movie’s commercial performance also reflected the same. The movie released in 2016 and the director had to wait for four years for his next project.
He got the chance to direct the first remake of his career, Naarappa. Venkatesh fans are not sure about his selections but are hoping that there is no scope to foil a remake subject. So, Addala has a lot of things at stake with this movie and he should prove himself at any cost with Naarappa.
The movie shooting is in the last leg and was supposed to release Later Summer but the Coronavirus scare played the spoilsport. The movie shooting has halted and no clarity about when the normalcy will be restored, Addala’s fate hangs in balance until the movie release.
Until knowing the result of Naarappa, no actor is even ready to listen to a script from the director. So, it has been a tough time for the director one should say.
