Thailand and a few other Asian countries are safe havens for the shooting of the films. Most of these countries offer hassle-free Visa on Arrival and Easiest Procedures for film shootings besides economical charges. So, these are easy choices to make for outdoor shoots.
However, things have turned topsy turvy in the last month or so. Coronavirus scare is gripping the entire Middle Kingdom and the people in these countries are almost tied to their houses. Going to those countries is extremely risky at least for the next couple of months.
Hence, several films had to change their plans at the last minute. As the wait is going to be indefinite, some movie teams are opting for other locations. The last-minute changes are incurring huge losses. Kamal Haasan and Shankar’s Bharateeyudu 2 is rethinking of alternatives as they planned as major schedule in Thailand.
Nagarjuna‘s Wilddog also halted as they planned a major schedule in Thailand. Allu Arjun’s next with Sukumar was supposed to be canned in the forests of those countries. The makers have delayed the start of their shoot due to the Coronavirus scare. It is not easy for them to reschedule since most countries do not give access to their forests easily.
