The film has already received a massive response in theatres. Led by Lokesh Kanagaraj and Wamiqa Gabbi, DC managed to connect strongly with the audience and turned out to be one of the notable theatrical successes of the season.
Now, the film is entering a completely different phase. OTT audiences are much wider, and DC will be reaching viewers who may have skipped the theatrical release. The digital platform could also bring fresh attention to the film, especially among audiences who were waiting for its streaming premiere.
