There were reports in media recently that Deepika Padukone will not dub for her role in the Hindi version of Kochadaiyaan. These reports emerged from the fact that special trails shows of the film were conducted where the voice of Deepika Padukone was indeed dubbed. This made many people think that the actress is not going to dub for the film.
However the co-producer of the film has now confirmed that Deepika Padukone will dub for the movie for sure. He also confirmed the reports that were doing the rounds about her voice being dubbed as partially true. The unit had to seek a professional to dub her voice for test screenings as the actress at that time was not able to find dates due to her busy schedule. However in the final version of the film which will hit the screens, the actress will dub for herself, he clarified putting an end to various rumours which also suggested her lack of interest in the film.
