It is known to our readers that Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are conducting separate exams for EAMCET this year and many students are attending both the exams. Telangana State Council of Higher Education is already receiving applications for the exam and they say there is a overwhelming demand from AP students as well.
Telangana officials say 20% of the total applications received so far are from Andhra Pradesh. They say Andhra Pradesh students are requesting exam centers to be setup in AP too so as to avoid the trouble of coming all the way to Hyderabad or rest of the Telangana centers.
It is said that Telangana State council of Higher Education is ready to setup exam centers in AP if the government requested. However AP did not put such request so far. Centers of Kodad (Nalgonda district) and Hyderabad are currently being chosen by students from AP.
