Despite positives, small movies fail!

It was like a once in a life time opportunity for small films last week. There were numerous holidays, ample theaters available and absolutely no competition from biggies. 4 small films Adda, Dalam, 1000 Abaddalu, Sri Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya released on Independence day eve but none of them is able to make a mark at the box office. Except Adda, all other films disappeared with out a trace.

On the other side, Adda is not doing great as well. The movie is doing moderate in Hyderabad city and below average in the other areas of the state. The movie may find it tough even for break even. At the end of the day, it is proven that even with all the positives, content is what that matters.
