It is known to our readers that the Devara Pre-release event resulted in a ruckus and had to be canceled.
Novotel, the venue could not accommodate the crowd. While the venue capacity is just 5500 people, the state Intelligence says 35,000 fans may have come.

Novotel Convention Center also suffered a huge damage. The Main Glass, the Elevator Glass, a few doors, and around 5,000 Chairs reportedly got damaged.
A few fans in anger threw the chairs and damaged them after the event got canceled. The Chairs Bill alone came up to 7 Lakhs, we are told.

The Venue Charges were already paid upfront. Now, Novotel is reportedly demanding around 33 Lakhs for the damages it got.
From the evening to Night, patrons who booked rooms in Novotel could not check in as the Security barricaded the entrance and did not allow anyone inside. As a result, 40 Room bookings were canceled. Novotel reportedly got a loss of 12 Lakh Rupees due to the cancelation.

Initially, the Convention Center asked the organizers to pay that amount as well. But after negotiations, they agreed to deduct that.
The Event Management Company was trying to negotiate the 33 Lakh Rupees Bill as well. We will have to see how it goes!
