NTR’s Devara opened to talk, but the box office momentum that began with the 1 AM midnight shows in India and U.S. pre-sales seems to be continuing strongly.
We will know the exact official U.S. premiere collection for Devara tomorrow, but according to the U.S. distributor Prathyangira Cinemas, it has earned $2.834 million, placing it in the top three highest openers after Kalki and RRR.
Devara appears to be maintaining its momentum on day one. Around 11 AM on Friday, it had already touched half a million, and given the current trend, we could see close to a million-dollar Friday.
This indicates that the film will perform well over the first weekend and may break even by the end of the weekend itself.
However, Saturday’s trends will provide more clarity. For now, it looks like it’s trending well.
