Daali Dhanunjay has made an impact in films like Pushpa with his unique performances. The actor is starring in a Pan-India historical epic, Halagali. The movie is directed by Sukesh DK and produced by Kalyan Chakravarthy Dhoolipalla, on an ambitious scale, without any compromise.
The movie title glimpse has been released and it showcases Dhanunjay as a fierce rebellion leader of the Bedar community. It sets the ground perfectly as we see the group being feared by British officials and they perform a planned attack on the office in broad daylight and throw the British flag down.
Dhanunjay with his striking screen presence looks the part. He looks perfect as the commander of a group who specialise in guerrilla warfare. His fierce attitude and avatar increases curiosity about the action packed historical fiction.
With the tagline, “The Battle for the weapons”, the makers are promising an authentic and highly effective take on history that is not known to many. The two part film shoot has started already and it is progressing at a rapid pace. The movie is scheduled to release in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
