One Rajaseharan filed a complaint on the makers of Rajinikanth and Pa Ranjith’s ‘Kaala’ produced by young hero Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films Private Limited. According to the complaint, Rajasekharan claims the right to the title ‘Karikalan’ which he had registered before.

When the case came up for hearing in the court on 15th of June, the counsel that appeared on behalf and Dhanush and Pa Ranjith asked for more time to respond on the matter. Will they come to an out of court settlement? The court adjourned the case to a later date for hearing on 23rd June?
The shooting of the film is in progress and the team of ‘Kaala’ completed their first schedule in Mumbai. Rajinikanth joined the first schedule and returned to Chennai while Rajasekharan has sought the stopping the shoot.
