Dil Raju had been receiving a lot of bad press of late. The fact that he is orchestrating a big release for dubbed film Varasudu over mainstream Telugu films Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy hasn’t been sitting well with the Telugu folk.
Now, netizens are mocking Dil Raju over his latest comments at the pre-release event of Varisu (Varasudu).
At the event, Dil Raju said “I worked with many superstars and Megastars in Telugu. Incidentally, I was waiting at Vijay sir’s cabin and he came with two cups of coffee. This is the first time I saw a superstar get a coffee to a producer. He is a real superstar off the screen as well.”
In this context, a few netizens are commenting that Dil Raju is insulting Telugu heroes by intentionally mentioning none of them served him, but Vijay, without ego, got him a coffee.
But what really happened is that Raju was not too affluent with his English speech. He was speaking in bits and pieces and the implication of his comments are a result of poor communication skills. It’s not right to call him out on this very reason.
