Director Mahi V Raghav showcased his talent with Anando Brahma in 2017. He attempted a film, Yatra on the Padayatra of Late YS Rajasekhara Reddy. Even though the movie did not work at the box office. it has got critical acclaim and also helped a bit for YSR Congress in the elections.
But then, the director seems to be getting carried away. He announced the plan of making a film on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and even released a tribute song for Jagan on the completion of one year in Power. This may be unnecessary for the talented director.
The young director is painting himself with Political Colours and it will restrict him to a section of filmmakers and audience. A few directors who passed their prime associate with political parties as they have nothing to lose. But it is not the case with the Young Director.
The Biopic of Jagan may release just before the 2024 elections just like Yatra before 2019 elections.
