Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s Bimbisara and Dulquer’s Sita Ramam have registered dream like first weekends at the Telugu box office.
Bimbisara has entered the profits zone already, just 3 days post its release. The film was sold for very nominal prices and later went on a strong run at the box office following a very good opening day. The buyers are expected to recover twice their investment on the film.

As for Sita Ramam, a love drama, the collections are on a steady incline. The film’s third day(Sunday) collections are higher than the second day(Saturday) which are in turn higher than the opening day (Friday ). This is a very healthy sign for the film, given the genre.
What’s better for these films is that there’s a long list of holidays to follow. Aug 9 is Muharram, 11 – Rakhi, 13, 14 – weekend, 15 – Independence Day, 19 – Janmashtami, 20,21 – weekend. There are a total of 8 holidays in the next 13 days, which could greatly boost the box office prospects of these films.
