Keerthy Suresh was lauded as the best actress in the country post-Mahanati’s massive success. A string of female-centric films came her way and Keerthy Suresh did not hesitate one bit to sign them whatsoever.
But sadly, all of them have become massive flops and disappointed many. Today, Keerthy Suresh’s new film Good Luck Sakhi was released and bombed at the box office. Both the reviews and collections are nil giving Keerthy a heartbreak.
Good Luck Sakhi is Keerthy’s eighth back-to-back flop in a row in the last few years. Saamy2, SandaKozhi 2, Penguin, Miss India, RangDe, Annaatthe, Marakkar Arabickadalinte Simham, and Good Luck Sakhi have failed at the box office. This clearly shows that she did not invest on the story but went in and signed films just to cash in on her fame.
Keerthy’s next film is Sarkaru Vaari Pata with Mahesh Babu and with Good Luck Sakhi being flopped, the fans are quite terrified that her bad luck from previous films will continue for Mahesh’s movie as well.
So much is being said about Keerthy’s presence in the film and how her bad form can disrupt Mahesh at the box office. Not many know but this issue was also discussed by the makers of SVP while signing Keerthy. But Mahesh showed confidence in her and felt that Keerthy will do justice to the role.
Now, the feeling is that Mahesh Babu being a big star and the film being a fun drama, will surely change the fate of Keerthy Suresh. She looked lovely in the teasers and hope that Mahesh rubs her star image on Keerthy and bring her out of the mess. SVP is directed by Parasuram and has music by Thaman.
