The last few weeks have been rather dry for the OTT audience with very limited options coming up in OTT space. Let us have a look at the kind of titles that are coming up this corresponding week and let us decide which of these deserve a spot in the watchlist.
East Of Eden
Here is something for the historic drama lovers out there as we have Netflix coming up with a period drama. “This fresh interpretation of John Steinbeck’s masterpiece explores the multigenerational saga of the Trask family, focusing new attention on its indelible antihero, Cathy Ames.” It will stream on Netflix from October 1.
Pooja Mari Jaan
This Hindi drama has Mrunal Thakur and Huma Qureshi in the lead roles and the plot reads “After Pooja rejects Aniket’s romantic advances, his subsequent death by suicide leaves her facing accusations.
As lawyer and friend Sana investigates the circumstances surrounding the incident, questions of obsession, consent, responsibility and the truth behind Pooja’s relationship with Aniket begin to emerge.” It will stream on ZEE5 from October 2.
The Last First: Winter K2
You have something for adventure, junkies is out there as we have Apple TV+ coming up with a new series based on the summit of K2. This show will cover the expedition regarding the summit of this intensely challenging mountain range. It will stream from October 2.
Sadly, these are about all the options that we have coming up this weekend in the OTT space. We have earlier options like Vishwanath and Sons, Irumudi and others that are streaming already on Netflix.
In terms of the options, we have Paradise featuring Nani, which is running in theatres. Then we have Jailer 2 and Ranabaali arriving in a few days time.
