After the engagement of Naga Chaitanya with Samantha, Nagarjuna had become really emotional. More than for his son, he seemed to be overwhelmed to welcome a daughter into his house.

He said, “My mother is my daughter now,” referring Samantha. Samantha played Nagarjuna’s mother in ‘Manam’ movie and he felt quite sentimental about having her in the climax scene of ‘Manam’ along with the Akkineni scions.
Even Shriya was there in the climax scene. Shriya also happens to be the name of his would-be daughter-in-law who is going to be wedded to Akhil. Nagarjuna’s sees the ‘Manam’ climax scene was designed by his father legendary Akkineni Nageshwar Rao, bringing in the entire Akkineni’s family into one frame.
