It’s a tricky situation for any new heroine. The director wants her to slap the hero as the part of the script written, the fans who came there to watch the shooting were shouting ‘Don’t Slap’. It was Thatipaka village in Godavari district. Many fans gathered to watch the shooting of Varun Tej’s ‘Kanche’ being directed by Krish.

One film old heroine Pragya Jaiswal was expected to slap Varun. She was scared because the fans were shouting not to slap their mega hero. But she had to slap him for the scene. Though earlier she new that Varun came from a big cine family, she only knew how big the family is, only after she joined the shooting of ‘Kanche’.
Pragya scored good marks for her appearance in the movie when the trailer was released. Her royal looks as Sita Devi, the daughter of a landlord in Telugu region during the World War-II period won her praises. She says, Krish wanted her to work more on expressions than on acting by watching old Hindi and English films.
