Flop director looks South for comeback

Prabhu Deva turned director with the hugely popular film Nuvvu Vasthanante Nenu Vaddantana in Telugu. He later moved to Tamil and then finally settled in Bollywood.

His success mantra has been remaking films from one language to other. It worked initially but when he started making original films, the results have been disastrous. His last two films in Hindi bear testimony to that. With no exciting offers, it looks like Prabhu Deva is heading South again.

Reports suggest that the director is looking at making a Tamil film. He has already narrated a subject to Karthi and if he gives his go ahead the project will take off soon. Let’s see if Prabhu Deva can mark a successful comeback or not.
