For the first time, critics target A R RahmanWhenever a film releases which has music by A R Rahman, half of the credit directly goes to him. But sadly, off late, things have changed and the latest example is 24. The Oscar award winner has come in for some heavy criticism for his lack luster album that he composed for the film.

Surprisingly, not even a single song was hummable and impressed the audience. Not even the beautiful locales and camera work saved these numbers. Critics have come in hard on him and have also lapped up his background score which was just about ok.

Except for a Mani Ratnam film and some Bollywood projects like Tamasha, A R Rahman’s music has not been impressive. Some feel that as he is busy with western projects, he is ignoring Indian films.

But being the strong man he is, we hope that very soon he will bounce back and stun everyone.
