The first Monday, followed by Tuesday, have become crucial in determining the real fate of a movie. There have been many instances where films showed gains on the opening weekends and yet crashed in the weekdays. Luckily, Gaddalakonda Ganesh is not in the same category.
The first Monday collections of Gaddalakonda Ganesh was decent as it collected around 1.60 Cr. It definitely could have been better, but considering the season and rains witnessed in multiple areas, it is alright.
Ceded and Andhra territories are performing well. Nizam is a little behind comparatively, but even here it is holding well. The Varun Tej starrer has crossed 5 Cr mark comfortably in this area. It will continue to add to its tally until the end of the second weekend.
Varun Tej and the team including the director Harish Shankar is staring a success tour starting today (September 24th). It is a good publicity tactic and will help the movie sustain until the end of the first week.
Gaddalakonda Ganesh has so far collected a little around 17 Cr worldwide. It needs to do more than 25 Cr to emerge a hit. Given the Monday hold, the chances to reach it are higher unless the weather proves to be a deterrent.
