There has been news that Gauthami is playing Kamal Haasan’s pair in the Tamil remake of Drishyam. While the news that Gauthami joined Kamal in the story discussion last week is true, it hasn’t been confirmed yet whether she will be part of the film or not. Kamal Haasan said that Gauthami always accompanies him to meeting and this was also one such occasion.
He said that he doesn’t mind her acting with him, but clarified that the decision to act is finally hers. Kamal and Gauthami were last seen on screen almost two decades ago and this would be a great reunion of sorts if they come together. Meanwhile, director Jeethu Joseph has narrated the story to him and apparently Kamal was pleased with it but has some minor changes to make. Let’s just hope that changes don’t change too much of the film’s story.
Kamal is busy wrapping up Uttama Villain and if all goes well then he is in all probablity going to have three releases this year. Because ‘Drishyam’ will also be a quick project.
