It is known that Vijay Deverakonda is joining forces with Gowtam Tinnanuri for VD12 which is the filming phase now.

Today, the makers announced that the film is releasing on the 28th of March, 2025 and unveiled a poster of Vijay to publicize the same. Vijay has evidently undergone a rugged makeover for the film as he is seen in trimmed hair and thick beard.
This look is unlike anything he had done in the past. While it was established that the film is an intense cop thriller, this new poster abides by the trope and presents the intense nature of the presentation.

It is good to see Vijay coming out and doing something out of the ordinary. He and Gowtam Tinnanuri appear to be coming up with something intense and interesting this time around.
The film is tentatively titled VD12 and it is headed for release on March 28. Sithara Entertainments are funding this actioner.

The film is arriving during peak summer season which is usually lucrative for Telugu films. The Ugadi weekend will help the cause. With an able crew of Gowtam and Anirudh, the prospects look bright for Vijay this time around.
