Speaking about the same, Gopichand reveals that this decision to release Chanakya for Dusshera was made before Chiru’s team announced their date and as there is no option left to them but stick to the slot to take advantage of the festive week, Chanakya team had to clash with Sye Raa. Well, Gopichand looks at it positively in a way as it gives the audience two films back to back in options to watch for their holidays. While Sye Raa is coming on 2nd, Chanakya will hit screens on 5th Oct. Not need a hit now. Let’s see who makes it.
