In the Telugu film industry, it’s not uncommon to see stories initially written for one actor being reworked for another. However, there’s no unwritten rule that stories or genres discussed with one hero cannot later be explored with someone else.
This topic has resurfaced with director Hanu Raghavapudi. Despite working on several movies, he shot to the top tier with the success of Sita Ramam. He is now working on a new project with Prabhas, tentatively titled Fauji.

Rumors have been circulating that this story was originally pitched to Nani before it landed with Prabhas.
Addressing these speculations, Hanu clarified that the story he is now developing is exclusively crafted for Prabhas and has no connection to any prior discussions with Nani.

He further stated that the film will introduce audiences to a world they have never seen before, filled with surprises and unique elements.
Hanu also mentioned that, while he has six army-backdrop stories in his collection, this particular one is entirely distinct and was written specifically for Prabhas. He revealed that it took him a year to develop the script after Sita Ramam’s success.

The film features Instagram star Iman Vellani Ismail in the lead role alongside Prabhas.
While the team is still finalizing the production details, they plan to announce the release dates once everything falls into place. Fans are eager to see what this collaboration between Prabhas and Hanu brings to the table.
