Balupu has reaped gold for Ravi Teja at the box-office. In AP alone, it has collected over INR 12 crore in the first week. With the success of the film, Mass Maharaja seems to have come back on track. But, what will be interesting to see is that what will be his next film.
Will Ravi Teja continue commercial pot-boilers or try something different for a change. If he continues to do films like Balupu, then audiences sooner or later will lose interest and he will have to come back to square one. There were rumours that he is likely to team up with Puri Jagannadh, but if that’s true then I wonder what I kind of film would that be.

I personally feel we have too much of Ravi Teja in mass avatars. He should try something for a change. I think it’s time he tries different genres and shed his usual avatar for something different.
