Speaking at the trailer launch event of Kudi Yedamaithe, Amala Paul, who plays a pivotal role in the series surprised the viewers by calling her co-star Rahul Vijay a brother.
“Rahul and I share a very interesting connection. I feel like he is my brother. We had many interesting conversations while talking about life, love, traveling and spirituality,” she said.
Amala Paul further added the characters played by Rahul and her share an interesting relationship in the series as well. “The characters played by us share a connection beyond friendship and that is how I feel in real life as well,” she said.
Notably, Amala Paul and Rahul Vijay do not play lead pair in the film. They portray two individual characters who happen to meet each other following a series of coincidental events.
Kudi Yedamaithe will be streaming on Aha from 16th of this month. The 8-episode series is directed by Pawan Kumar of U Turn fame.
