Andhra Pradesh historical produced some of the greatest chief minister in the country who had placed a lot of emphasis on social welfare and public infrastructure. The likes of NTR, Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy, Rajasekhar Reddy, Chandrababu Naidu, have gained a legacy for themselves.
Naturally, with Lokesh being the son of Chandrababu and the grandson of legendary NTR, there’s a lot of talk on his stake in the claim for becoming the next CM.
This has now invited an interesting reaction from Lokesh when he was asked about the prospect of becoming the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh next.
“That is not even in my priority yet. I have no sight on becoming the chief minister next. My immediate focus is on changing the education system in the state, and I am spending sleepless nights when there are examinations going on. This is the future of the students that we are talking about, and I don’t want any mishaps” Lokesh said.
When the time comes naturally, there is no stopping Lokesh from becoming the next CM of Andhra Pradesh, but this is not playing actively on the mind of the youngster yet. He is very firm on bringing investments to the state and changing the educational landscape first.
Becoming the CM will be a big transition for sure but for now, Lokesh is more focussed more on public policy making and creating an impression as a minister first. Alas, as long as Chandrababu is active, there’s no need to even discuss the prospect of next CM.
