‘Thani Oruvan’, which is being remade in Telugu as ‘Dhruva’ with Ram Charan and Rakul Preet Singh as the lead, had been popular for the terrific combo of the hero-villain Jayam Ravi and Aravind Swamy. Aravind Swamy was irreplaceable for the Telugu remake.

The same combo is back with another upcoming Tamil film ‘Bogan’. Even in this film, Jayam Ravi is essaying the role of a police officer and one doesn’t know if Aravind swamy is playing the villain or would be on the side of the good. However, the expectations on the movie have soared up, by the virtue of this combo.
Aravind swamy gave a laudable performance as the antagonist in ‘Thani Oruvan’ and won a lot of critical acclaim for his role. Though Jayam Ravi also was lauded for his performance, it was Aravind swamy who stole the show. Nevertheless, the duo had been complimentary on screen. That’s the reason why expectations are high on their next combo.
