The makers of Subrahmanyam For Sale hoped for a festival opening day but with the festival getting delayed by a day they had to bear the brunt on day one. But it’s proving to be an advantage now on the second day.

As the talk of the film isn’t poor, a holiday on the second day has been beneficial, more so because SFS had a mid week release on Thursday. Now the film gets an extended weekend benefit and going by the word of mouth and correlation of collections with it, this is going to be a major advantage in the end.
Another important factor is the holiday factor coming into play in the two Telugu states where the film is doing well. In other states and overseas, Subrahmanyam For Sale is below par so far and a pick up looks unlikely at this point.
