Ramya Krishna added full life and credibility to the epic character Shivagami she played in ‘Baahubali’. It’s been very long since she received such huge appreciation for her character. Long back she got the same kind of appreciation for her character Neelambari in “Padayappa’ dubbed into Telugu as ‘Narasimha’. If not for Ramya Krishna, nobody would have done justice to the powerful negative character alongside superstar Rajnikanth.

Audiences are expressing the same feelings regarding her potrayal of Shivagami. They can’t even imagine any other actress doing better work for the role. She added the spice and perfect aura the character demands by her presence. Ramya opines that her character as Shivagami is a lot better than Neelambari in Narasmha.
This epic movie happened to her when she was busy doing television and almost missed the opportunity because of the number of dates she was required to give for Baahubali. Thank God! Rajamouli narrated the story in such a way that Ramya Krishna was floored by his narration and immediately accepted to do the role.
