The Enforcement Directorate, SIT, and Narcotics Control Bureau have been going particularly hard against drug peddling and consumption in Hyderabad. There is a spike in the number of drug busts in the city of late.
Coming to the topic, Telugu actor Navdeep has appeared in front of the ED today after was summoned by the investigating agencies regarding possible money laundering.
The ED reportedly suspects Navdeep is involved in financial transactions with the individuals who are involved with drug peddling. They are said to be investigating him on the alleged money laundering aspect.
The ED had asked the Narcotics Control Bureau to submit the details regarding the Madhapur drug bust in which Navdeep was briefly investigated.
Navdeep reached the ED office in Hyderabad a short while ago and is taking part in the investigation. He is facing the heat with regard to the Madhapur drug bust.
