For many years now, the Iconic Prasad’s multiplex has been one of the best theaters in all of Hyderabad. The large format PCX screen here is widely regarded as the best screen in the city for its state-of-art sound system and wide screen. But the screen is now getting slammed by netizens and here is why.
The main complaint about the PCX theater is that it has the worst possible seating arrangement. There are several complaints from netizens that the spacing between the seats is lesser than a shady single screen in the outskirts of Hyderabad.
“Best theatre ye kani seating comfort gurunchi evadu em matladadu.. Ma vikarabad single screens lo baguntai” a netizen pointed out.
Another netizen commented “I have watched almost every big hero’s movie here, the seats are pathetic and uncomfortable. The row alphabets are almost invisible and hard to find. Those need to be changed.”
The main complaints are about the seating space and the steps in the auditorium. It is about time that Prasad’s management takes note of this and makes necessary arrangements. Sorting the seating arrangement might pose a significant logistical issue to the management but some sort of solution is needed if this PCX screen is to continue the ‘best theater’ tag.
