Income Tax raids on Kollywood celebs houses just before the release of a film is nothing new in Tamil Film Industry. But such raids cause great anxiety on the part of film makers and hence they don’t like to reveal the figures of their films. But Rajni’s producer, Kalaipuli Thanu is certainly not afraid of IT raids.

In fact, he reveals that his ‘Kabali’ was sold out for Rs.8 crores in US even before they wrapped up shooting for the film. The producer isn’t afraid of the IT raids and hence has no fear of revealing the figures of ‘Kabali’s business in overseas.
‘Rajnikanth’s ‘Kabali’ is going to wrap up shooting in February, probably on 28th Feb and be ready for May release after post-production. When there is more than a couple of months time before release, it’s really overwhelming to hear the high price for which the superstar’s film got sold out.
