“If Movie Bad, No Audience For Chiru Matinee Also”

Writer Prasanna Kumar Bezawada

Prasanna Kumar Bezawada, the writer behind films such as ‘Nenu Local,’ ‘Cinema Choopista Maava,’ ‘Dhamaka’, and ‘Naa Saami Ranga,’ has emerged as an interesting writer in Tollywood in the last few years.

In his recent interview, he made some honest remarks about nepotism in the industry.

He said, “Megastar Chiranjeevi residing in Hyderabad inspired Prasanna Kumar (me) in Machilipatnam to come to the film industry. If he can’t inspire his son to become an actor sleeping beside his bedroom then what kind of icon Chiranjeevi is?”

He continued, “The audience loves an actor only if he’s talented and not because he is the son of a big star. In these times, there is no audience in the matinee show itself on the first day of Chiranjeevi’s movie if the movie isn’t good then how will people watch Ram Charan’s films just because he is the son of Chiranjeevi.”
