Tripti Dimri Bad Newz Movie

Bollywood is going through a slump this year. All major films have flopped and the industry is surviving on small-budget films like Munjya and Srikanth.

Now all eyes are on Tripti Dimri’s upcoming film, Bad Newz, where she plays a pregnant girl with a twist. After her sizzling performance in Animal, Tripti Dimri is back with a new film titled Bad Newz.

The trailer for Bad Newz, featuring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, has finally dropped, sparking excitement among fans.

Following the success of Good Newwz, Bad Newz aims to deliver a similar blend of fun and heartfelt moments. The 2:57-minute trailer teases a story filled with uproarious comedy and unique twists.

In Bad Newz, Triptii Dimri plays Saloni, who finds herself in a peculiar situation: she’s pregnant but unsure who the father is.

Initially involved with Vicky Kaushal’s character, she later falls for Ammy Virk’s character, leading to further complications. Medical advice suggests that both men could potentially be the father due to a rare condition.

Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk)must come to terms with the possibility of both being fathers to Saloni’s twins. The comedic rivalry between the two seems to be a highlight, bringing a Tom-and-Jerry-like charm to their interactions.

Tripti looks damn hot and beautiful. The dialogues are hilarious, and the film looks genuinely fun. The nostalgic inclusion of the song Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam from SRK’s Duplicate elevates the trailer, bringing a magical and feel-good factor to it.

Bollywood finally is finding its groove with unique scripts, good songs, and funny dialogues.

However, it will be interesting to see how the director will justify a situation where a woman engages in sexual activity with two men while dating one, without protection and purely for a timepass.

We wonder if the same feminists who criticized Ranbir Kapoor’s character in ‘Animal’ for his extramarital affair will apply the same scrutiny to Tripti Dimri’s character here.

Directed by Anand Tiwari, Bad Newz is produced by Karan Johar and is set to hit theatres on July 19.
