The newly elected President of TFCC, producer Suresh Babu totally rules out that film industry is making investments in AP. Moving the base from Hyderabad isn’t easy. It takes decades like it happened when the TFI moved its base from Madras to Hyderabad. According to him, even the Madras-Hyderabad shift is still incomplete and how can one expect Hyderabad-Vizag shift so soon?
For the cinema Industry, both the Telugu speaking States are equal. Telugu Industry is the churner of highest number of films because of its vast audiences from both the States. Moreover, the truncated State has many basic issues to be sorted out and most importantly, it has to build it’s own capital city first, which would take many years. Can one expect a shift without proper infrastructure?
