The highly anticipated Salaar, starring Prabhas and directed by Prashanth Neel, has postponed its original release date in September.
There are now several speculated release dates, including the lucrative Sankranthi 2024.
On the other hand, Guntur Kaaram, featuring Mahesh Babu and directed by Trivikram Srinivas, announced its Sankranthi release much earlier. However, multiple releases during this festival are common.
While Salaar appears to be a massive film, choosing to clash with Mahesh and Trivikram makes one wonder if they are underestimating Trivikram’s strong family audience appeal.
Trivikram’s films and Sankranthi have historically been a perfect match for family entertainment, as proved by his last film.
If this clash does occur, it will be interesting to see if Trivikram can outperform Prabhas and Prashanth Neel. If he does, his reputation will soar even higher.
