Ravi Teja starrer Irumudi has become a huge blockbuster creating all-time regional record trends in hourly ticket sales even on Monday. The movie crossed Rs.75 crores+ gross worldwide and the ticket rush for even on working days is phenomenal. So, the team have conducted a grand Success Press Meet.
Producers Mythri Naveen and Mythri Ravi have stated that listening to movie box office performance from various distributors has been thrilling for them. Naveen especially stated that an old distribution house Usha Pictures, told him that they have never seen a film achieve breakeven within one and a half days of release.
Director Shiva Nirvana took his time to talk about the contribution of each and every technician, artist in pre-production, production and post-production stages. He thanked Ravi Teja for believing in the story and giving him such an epic blockbuster. He said, “With Ravi Teja, it is easy to work as he gives 100% freedom after locking the script. I’m thankful to him for making Irumudi possible as I envisioned.” He continued to thank Priya Bhavani Shankar, Baby Nakshatra, Sai Kumar, Sam, Ramesh Indira and Swasika for their stunning performances.
Ravi Teja looked very happy and in a positive vibe with the success at the event. He said, “Shiva Nirvana looked focused, convinced and worked hard on the sets. I always wished to be part of rooted films as well along with big stories. But I used to doubt if audiences will be able to accept them. Irumudi proved that people are encouraging them. I will continue to be part of such films.”
