Recent news has revealed that veteran filmmaker P. Chandrasekar Reddy has geared up to direct the film Jagannayakudu which is based on the story of three generations of YSR’s family. Some time earlier, director Puri Jagannath had announced his wish for making a film on YSR’s legacy but had later dropped the idea. Now, P.C. Reddy, who is known for making movies like ‘Badi Panthulu’ and ‘Paadi Pantalu’ has picked up the ball with his latest project Jagannayakudu.
The director has stated that he had been looking ahead for something thrilling and the offer could not come to him at a better time. He explained that the film is a unique blend of fact and fiction in order to make it a full-fledged entertainer. As it is, Jagannayakudu follows three generations of the family as matter-of-factly as possible. Reddy also added that despite YSR being his friend for three decades, he will try to be as objective as possible in his endeavours.
