Rajinikanth’s much-awaited sequel Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is reportedly in the final stages of production. According to industry reports, the makers are targeting a Diwali release. The film has generated significant excitement ever since its announcement.
One of the biggest talking points surrounding Jailer 2 has been its cameo appearances. The original film featured memorable cameos by Shiva Rajkumar and Mohanlal, which were widely appreciated by audiences and contributed to the film’s popularity.
The makers have not officially revealed the complete list of special appearances. However, Vijay Sethupathi, SJ Suryah, and Mithun Chakraborty have stated in separate interviews that they are part of the sequel. Their involvement has further increased anticipation.

Industry buzz also suggested that Hrithik Roshan was approached to replace Shah Rukh Khan. Speculation gained momentum after Hrithik Roshan was spotted at Chennai airport, with reports claiming he had travelled to shoot his portions for Jailer 2.
According to the latest speculation, Hrithik Roshan’s scenes with Rajinikanth have turned out well, and his role has reportedly become longer than originally planned. There is also speculation that the makers may retain all of his scenes because of the wider reach he could bring to the film in North India.
