The chief minister of Tamil Nadu Thalapathy Vijay has one of the most breathtaking career trajectories as he got elected as the chief minister of the state in his very first attempt.
However, there is this one particular detrimental factor associated with his film career, and this has something to do with Jana Nayagan.
This film was initially stalled from release during the Sankranti season and it is still under the sheets. There were extensive reports about the political pressure behind the obstruction of the film and Vijay himself facing CBI investigation in the Karur stampede case.
But things have changed drastically now as Vijay is the chief minister of Tamil Nadu and has significant political power. He might have political differences with the NDA government at the central level, but he is a pretty big deal in South India now.
