The delegation said Naidu that they would come up with specific proposals to fund the development of AP’s capital city through the Japan Bank for International Co-operation (JBIC). This comes at a time, Center confirmed that these projects are not economically viable given the population there.
They also informed him that Japan International Co-operation Agency (JICA) is ready to fund the Metro Projects proposed in Vijayawada and Vishakapatnam. This will come as a shot in the arm to Naidu’s government as the state is in severe funds crunch to take up these prestigious projects.
