A couple of weeks back, the news shocked the entire nation that Chiyaan Vikram’s health condition was critical. Rumors circulated that Vikram suffered a massive heart stroke and was admitted to ICU.
A few gossip sites went ahead and even created Youtube and social media thumbnails on his unexpected death.
The other day when Vikram was in Hyderabad to promote his upcoming film, Cobra, the star hero said that those memes and fake rumors affected him greatly. He said that when he saw such thumbnails and pictures of himself with a garland, he was quite taken aback.
He said he saw one news where NTR was crying and paying condolences to him. Vikram jokingly said that he went for a general checkup and such fake speculations literally made him join ICU for a few days. Looks like Vikram was deeply disturbed by the unethical news about his health.
Cobra, directed by CBI Anjali fame Ajay Gnanamuthu, is all set to hit the screens in Tamil and Telugu on August 31st. KGF fame Srinidhi Shetty is the female lead, and Cobra has former cricketer Irfan Pathan in the antagonist role. NV Prasad is releasing the Telugu version of Cobra in Telugu states.
