Social media is a hostile place and it is usually loaded with a whole lot of negativity and trolls. The same is seen in the case of NTR’s Devara which is up for its theatrical debut soon.
Coming to the topic now, there is a senseless discussion going on about the slang used by NTR in the film.
A few netizens are commenting that NTR using Rayalaseema slang in the film is not in tune with the film. They are pointing out that the visuals have a pure seaside vibe and water sequences but the slang used by NTR is entirely Rayalaseema-oriented.
However, there is no credence to this trash talk on social media. Needless to say, the Seema slang has a perfect mass appeal which is needed for a mass hero’s mass film like Devara in this case.
Devara is anyways bound to be a mass film and Koratala might have felt the need to have Seema slang which is becoming increasingly popular in films these days.
The general perception is that the Seema slang has a far more mass appeal than the conventional coastal slang. And for NTR, Seema dialect comes more naturally to him than Konaseema slang. This is one crucial factor in this scheme of things.
