The much-anticipated collaboration between Jr. NTR and Trivikram Srinivas is once again grabbing attention in the film industry. After delivering the successful Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, the duo is now reportedly planning to reunite for a much bigger and more ambitious project. This time, it is in the mythological genre.
For a long time, there has been strong buzz around a project tentatively referred to as God of War. The film was earlier said to be under consideration with both Allu Arjun and NTR at different stages. However, the latest industry talk suggests that NTR has now been finalized for the project. Allu Arjun is moving ahead with Lokesh Kanagaraj, Basil Joseph, and Sandeep Reddy Banga projects.
Sources indicate that an official announcement could arrive on May 20 on NTR’s birthday. If everything goes as planned, the film’s shooting is expected to begin in December. Adding to the excitement, the title Shanmukhudu is reportedly under consideration, and it is said to have been registered by producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi. The emergence of this title has further amplified expectations around the project.
At present, both the actor and director are occupied with their respective commitments. Trivikram is working on a film with Venkatesh, while NTR is busy with Prashanth Neel’s ongoing project Dragon. Only after Dragon is completed will the Trivikram project move to the floors.
Meanwhile, there is also movement on Devara 2, with director Koratala Siva reportedly preparing the script.
However, the timeline of this sequel depends heavily on NTR’s schedule. If the Trivikram film begins as planned in December, Koratala Siva may have to wait. Alternatively, if there is a delay in pre-production for the mythological film, NTR might quickly wrap Devara 2 in that gap.
In addition, fans can expect a glimpse of Dragon to be released on NTR’s birthday, making May 20 a crucial date with multiple potential announcements.
With multiple big-ticket projects lined up and decisions pending, Jr. NTR’s upcoming slate is shaping into one of the most exciting in Indian cinema.
