Since Rajamouli started campaigning for ‘Baahubali’, one thing we as audiences are consistently hearing from him in many interviews is his admiration and fascination for ‘Amar Chitra Stories’ and our epic ‘Mahabharat’. His die-hard fans naturally are keen to know when would ‘Mahabharat’ happen?
Going by his present commitments and his pace, Rajamouli admits that he would take few years to think of ‘Mahabharat’ and hence who to cast in the film for lead roles depends on his priorities at that time.
But if he had to choose someone from present generation actors for the role of Sri Krishna, Rajamouli says it will be Tarak. Tarak would suit the role better than any other contemporary actors according to him. Going by the acting capabilities, diction and dialogue delivery skills of NTR, one would sincerely agree with the film maker’s opinion.
The kind of voice and diction needed for a mythological character as powerful as Lord Sri Krishna should have a definitive quality. NTR has the thing openly said in a chat show hosted by popular anchor on a Television chit chat.
