Nikhil’s ‘Spy’ thriller and Sree Vishnu’s Samajavaragamana, a fun film, are hitting screens on Thursday instead of the usual Friday release due to the advantage of the Bakrid holiday in India.
Interestingly, both films cater to different audiences, with one being a Spy thriller and the other a simple fun watch.
When it comes to overseas, especially the U.S., both films will have the advantage of a long weekend as the 4th of July Independence Day falls on Tuesday.
Due to Independence Day falling on Tuesday, several companies in the U.S. also announce Monday as a holiday, allowing people to enjoy a four-day long weekend (Saturday to Tuesday).
This will be a significant advantage for the new releases as the summer season and the long weekend create a favorable combination for Telugu moviegoers in the U.S. to visit theaters.
