Tamil cinema doesn’t huge market in US but as usual Rajinikanth happens to be exception. The Superstar is coming up with new film Kabali and he is already heating up the shores with new unheard before precedence in South Indian cinema not just Telugu films.

The shows of Kabali are going to be shown from a day earlier than its release in India. And no these are not premiere shows either. It’s the regular 11 AM shows itself but in huge number. The ticket rates ($25 for Premier) will be akin to the premiere shows though. It is a never before seen strategy for big movies in US and if it clicks there could be commotion of sorts going forward.
What this also means is that premiere record is up for grabs. So far no Rajinikanth film had a record, will Kabali be the first? Only a week more to find out.
