When a regional film like ‘Kabali’ is going for a wide release, as wide as 5000+ screens, it is sure collect Rs.500 crore plus says Kabali movie producer Kalaipuli Thanu. If all the calculations and the hype around the film and the count of theaters is taken into count, this is going to be bigger than ‘Baahubali’ he says.

Besides Tamil and Telugu, he Hindi version will also release o 22nd July. The Malay version will come a week later and the other language versions like Chinese, Japanese, Thai and Indonesian will release later in the coming months. So, the producer thinks Kabali is bigger than Baahubali. He goes even a step ahead and says Kabali market is beyond Baahubali because of stature of Rajinikanth.
Though the hype is on peaks right now, the talk on the film after release will decide whether ‘Kabali’ will remain bigger than ‘Baahubali’ in terms of record collections. Only a week left to know the fate of the superstar’s film, which got excellent pre-release buzz.
